Events

The University of Toledo Varsity Band has been asked to play for several basketball games during the UToledo winter break and we invite Rocket Marching Band alumni to fill in for the students who are away from campus. There are several great Mid-American Conference games in January and we would love to see you there to kick-off the new year.

The opportunities are:

Wednesday, Jan. 5
Women's Basketball vs. Eastern Michigan at 7 p.m.
Call time is 6:15 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 8
Men's Basketball vs. Northern Illinois at 2 p.m.
Call time is 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday, Jan. 12
Women's basketball vs. Central Michigan at 7 p.m.
Call time is 6:15 p.m.

Additional Event Details

• Meeting Location: Meet at the NW corner of Savage Arena at call time prior to each game.

• Attire: RMB, alumni RMB and UToledo polos or T-shirts, closed-toe shoes and khaki pants.

• Parking: Park in Areas 1A, 1B, 2, or 10. Click here for a map of Main Campus.

• Game Tickets: Up to four free tickets are available for each participating alum for each game you attend. All tickets will be sent electronically to the email address sumitted at registration. 

• COVID-19 Guidelines: Per UToledo policy, masks are currently required in Savage Arena when fans are not actively eating or drinking (or playing woodwind/brass instrument)

• Additional Information: Folders and large instruments will be signed out at Savage Arena during call time.
