Join UToledo Interim President Matt Schroeder and the campus community as we celebrate a historic milestone — The University of Toledo’s recognition among the nation’s leading research institutions!

This prestigious Carnegie R1 Classification recognizes our commitment to research innovation and academic excellence. We are proud to be one of only 187 institutions in the country to achieve this distinction from the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education.

Be part of this momentous occasion as we honor the dedication of our researchers, faculty, students and partners who have contributed to this incredible achievement.

Connect with UToledo faculty and students as they showcase their innovative research through table displays and poster presentations. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about our latest efforts to address harmful algal blooms, see the most recent images of deep space taken with the James Webb Space Telescope, review advances in medical research, check out a new makeup foundation under development by cosmetic scientists, experience unique works of art and much more!

Light refreshments will be served. A brief program will begin at 3:30 p.m.

RSVP now to join the celebration! RSVPs are not required but encouraged.

Free visitor parking is available beginning at 2:30 p.m. in several parking areas near Savage Arena on Main Campus, including area 1N, 1S, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10 and 18.
