College of Health and Human Services Meet The Dean

The University of Toledo Alumni Association had a virtual conversation with Dr. Mark Merrick, the new dean of the College of Health and Human Services. We had the opportunity to learn more about the dean and his vision for the future of the college.

Merrick, who earned his baccalaureate and doctoral degrees at UToledo, has spent the last two decades at Ohio State University as director of the Athletic Training Division in OSU’s College of Medicine. Merrick earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from UToledo, a master’s degree in athletic training from Indiana State and a doctorate in exercise physiology from UToledo. He is a proud lifetime member of The University of Toledo Alumni Association.
