Medicinal Cannabis and CBD Oil Program

The Nursing Alumni Affiliate presented a program on Medicinal Cannabis and CBD Oil, given by Teaera Roland, FNP-BC CARN-AP, MSN, CCM.

Roland is a hospital administrator with a diverse clinical and administrative background in healthcare. She founded Lotus Health LLC due to the overwhelming need for patient-centered and holistic treatment in the community. Roland is certified in addiction as well as cannabinoid medicine. She is the first nurse practitioner invited to serve on the medical board for the American Academy of Cannabinoid Medicine. The board provides experience working with scientists from around the world and developing a standard of education for multiple disciplines while studying the endocannabinoid system itself, not just cannabis as a medicine.
